Uses for Pocket PCs

I just found two iPaq units, and I was wondering, is there much one can do with them still, aside from emails and calendar events? The one I fixed is an iPaq H5550, with a 400MHz processor and 128mb of RAM/ROM.

It runs Windows CE 4.2, but would it be possible to make it run XP, 98, or even DOS? I can't find much online for it.

well, it's not going to be an x86. I suspect you can probably shoehorn a linux distro on there.

Ah, yes, I forgot to mention, its an ARM processor. I guess the question after putting a linux distro on there would be, what now?

Unless something neat pops up, I'll just leave them in their cradles, looking kinda funky on my shelf.

I used to play Sean O'Connors games on my iPaq. Slay and his other games are quite fun!
