Installing more than one FDD on a modern PC?

Has anyone been able to achieve this?

As many are aware, most modern PC's only allow you to install one floppy drive through the BIOS.
(that is even if your motherboard still has a FDD controller lol)

Ive got probably one of the last boards made by ASUS to have a floppy controller, its an ASUS P5Q deluxe.

Anyway, i had read a thread on another forum about modding the BIOS ROM to allow the BIOS to install 2 drives.

I was wondering if anyone had done this, or had more experience in this field?

It would be great if i could (ironically) use some floppy drives on my modern PC just for the sole purpose of writing disk images and reading my old DOS floppies etc. :)

lol, i did not even think that such a card existed!

Something close is the catweasel card, which would be a good option for being able to write to C64 disks also on my main PC.

I would love RW access to both floppy formats in my own computer, ironically this is something i never ever would have even bothered with once.
