Testing out my ZX Spectrums this afternoon, got both my girls interested and the eldest one playing.

My daughter is very much into new gaming stuff but does have a weakness for the Commodore 64. Recently though she has taken up programming on my 128k Spectrum and is really enjoying that.

Hi, that's great! I used to remembered ZX Spectrums for its rubber keyboard and distinctive rainbow motif. Am I correct that It was originally released on April 1982? Well, perhaps my daughters would also love that game.

I never played with a Spectrum in the day. When I eventually got one (about 2007) I was surprised at the minimal design (not even a off switch). However, I guess that's what made it affordable for families to buy, and for kids to play with. There is no doubting its place in history.
