I may have seen this link around this site before, but I just found and watched this today on youtube while waiting for paint to dry / watching computers image ...

It's very interesting and awfully nostalgic. I'm glad I'm at least old enough to grow up with the Atari VCS in the home and Donkey Kong/Space Invaders etc at the arcades, followed by the explosion of home computers and then 16-bit consoles. I wasn't quite there for Pong but I enjoyed watching the ads shown on the doco from this era. I did get a bit angry at how little some of these pioneering game makers and programmers were paid for their successes they brought upon the companies, but that was more because instantly I made a general leap of logic to apply that to just how the world is in the present. The people that do the work...

Just finished watching , great program , pity they did not cover the computers in the same way they cover the consoles.
