Old computer magazines

Postby artig on Sat Jun 13, 2015 9:07 pm

Is there any interest in old computer magazines? I have a fairly large collection dating back to the late 1970's, but mostly from the 1980's and 1990's, including an almost complete set of 80-Microcomputing/80-Micro, as well as most or all issues of Byte, Dr Dobbs Journal, Computer Language, Embedded Systems Programming, PC Tech Journal, and Tech Specialist (which became Windows/DOS Developers Journal). Also odd copies of other old magazines, mainly TRS-80 ones (80-US, H&E Computronics, Softside, etc).

I've only just started sorting through the collection, which has been in storage for about 8 years, and thought I'd ask here before listing on TradeMe. So far the ones I've looked at have been in reasonably good condition.

I might be interested in the 80-US ones. How many and what issues. Send me a PM.

And I would be interested in the 80-Micro's if Tezza isn't.

Go for it. I'm not interested in the 80-Micros or Micro-80 as I have a whole set of both already. Great mags!

I've found 9 issues so far, but suspect there are others somewhere. I'll get back to you once I get through the various stacks of magazines. They are Vol 3 # 3 to Vol 4 #5 (May/June 1980 to Sep/Oct 1981).
