Manuals galore!!!

I have been contacted by an employee of Gallagher here in Marton in regards to their small store room full of microprocessor and component manuals that need to go. They invited me over to inspect and there is hundreds of books from Motorola, Philips, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Intel and much more. The manuals cover micros etc from, what I could tell, 1983 to mid 90's. Way to many to list and sort but they are all shelved in manufacture order so if you are after something specific it wouldn't take me long to find it if it is in fact there. Please PM me if you are interested - not sure yet how I can get them to you but its definitely worth a try for the copious amount of knowledge they represent!

Well, that was a mish posting images on this forum! Here we go, all the pics that I could take (about %20 of the books) that I thought would pertain to vintage computing.

Wow, that took some! I apologize for the images being a bit fuzzy but I think you get the picture (pun intended). As I have said, the library was massive but not all the books pertained to vintage computing. Can someone please rescue these books as they will be heading to the tip in a matter of days - PM me. Cheers!

I hope you can find a good home for these. Seems like a wealth of great info for someone knowledgeable in such things.

Holy crap that's a hell of an engineering library. It would probably be of use to those trying to repair all sorts of equipment from the 80's / 90's. (and much later)

There's certainly more there than I will ever have time to read, but it seems a shame to have such a valuable encyclopaedic reference of 80's/90's chips and their behaviour go to recycling. (These books would have been hundreds of dollars EACH)

The biggest problem is moving it.. There's no list and it's only close to one or two of us.. is anyone with a wagon coming to Auckland?

Well, thats it. Everything has been junked... except anything Motorola that I could put my hands on. I will at some stage catalog them and post the list - just in case!
