Wellington Apple User Group Magazines available

Due to a sudden need for more space I’m ruthlessly cleaning up. Years ago I was given a box of “Capital Apple” magazines from around 1985 up to 1997. This magazine is the journal of the Wellington Apple Users Group (WAUG) and as such these may have some local historical value for those in the Wellington Region (or even NZ generally). Were these were ever scanned or preserved somewhere? I don’t have the time or inclination to scan these myself…on the other hand I’m reluctant to bin them, given they are in quite good condition and someone from that group may want them (hopefully to scan?). Is there is anyone in Wellington or its environs who wants these for preservation and/or scanning, or knows who might? I’d rather they go to someone who is passionate about these magazines and serious about preserving them for posterity and/or eventually scanning them as opposed to a hoarder. Anyway, let me know. I will probably be driving down to Wellington in the next month or so and could drop them off.
