Anyone have a UK connection?

by xjas » Mon Jan 13, 2014 12:22 pm

There's something on Ebay UK I kinda want (a lot...) The seller didn't allow international shipping so it's not even letting me place a bid.

The item is boxed and not overly bulky (i.e. it can be sent as normal post.) Probably about 15 kg. What's the best way to win it & get it down here? Is there a reputable bidding service I could use?

Set up a youshop account with NZ Post (its free, you just pay for shipping)? You get both a US and UK shipping address you can use for stuff like this... There are restrictions on weight and size, however. But its a good option for buying anything that doesn't do international. Also, the general cost is around NZ$17 from youshop - if the eBay seller is doing free national shipping, and their international is crazy expensive - that's another reason its handy.
