Grub is one of those things I touch, when I need to make something boot a new kernel. I don't know it well, and I have a question.
From the docs, it looks like grub can boot disk images and emulate the BIOS int13E interface.
Now that makes me think that theres a possibility that grub could emulate the int13e interface when presenting a real drive and overcome the dreaded 504MB BIOS limitation. I'd rather overcome this using a modern, well supported bootloader, than start hunting the internet for obsolete versions of ez-drive that might support my drive.
Anyone tried this?
