somewhat under-rehearsed but it's more human that way right?.

Anyway, I put this YouTube to promote classic-computers.org.nz. It's also on the front page at http://www.classic-computers.org.nz to introduce the site. My first attempt at this kind of thing.

Good video. You have quite a good voice for it too.

Thanks for those kind words. I thought it was about time for me to join the video age. Younger people in particular seem to like video and it might hook them into learning more about computer history.

I see you couldn't do it without having to use a car analogy :)

Yes of course. People "get" vintage and classic cars but they don't usually get those terms when they are applied to computers. It needs explaining :)

Reminds me of a BBC documentary.

If you mean a "vintage" BBC documentary re: the 1970s/early 80s then it fits the subject material :)

It's good fun showing the computers off. Also it gives me the chance to boot them up and make sure everything is working ok. It also forces me to learn how to drive my video camera and moviemaker! The Windows 7 version of Moviemaker has a seamless integration with YouTube which is nice.

I thought I'd spend a rainy weekend doing something creative. And that would be making another YouTube video this time on my Apple II+ and some of the clones.

Better video than the others but issues with the audio auto-levels when I'm filming myself. I'll get it right eventually.

LOL. Strange stuff indeed. Is there some subliminal coding going on there? :)

Thanks for the positive comments about the video (to mrad01 too). Starting work on the TRS-80 one this weekend although it might not appear for a week or two. There's a lot going on at the Stewart household at the moment.
