Amiga 500 needed for a show (Hamilton or Auckland)

Postby tezza on Wed Jan 16, 2013 12:25 pm

Hi, I received this letter today:
Hi Terry,

I was wondering if you could put me in contact with a collector of Vintage Computers in or around Hamilton or Auckland?

I'm looking to borrow an Amiga 500 (or other iconic 80s computer) for a play that I'm putting on in Hamilton in mid February.
The computer doesn't have to work, just look good! And we'd make sure we took the best care of it.

I may be able to arrange a bond or small fee for whoever lent it to us.

Let me know if there's anyone you can think of who may be able to help me out.

Thanks,
Amanda

PS. Here's the link to our website: http://www.fullhouseproductions.co.nz/ The show we'd be using the computer for is Booom!

If anyone in the Auckland area is interested please contact Amanda email: amanda_wallace24@hotmail.com

I read the show synopsis... to be honest, if it's needed for what I think it's needed for, she needs a CP/M machine, although by 1987 it's more like an IBM AT or clone.

Otherwise it'll be a bit flight of the conchords. (the Vic 20)
"dsakey" on trademe. Apple II's are my thing.

Meet in the middle, 128D.
Just the local Commodore hobo and middle-aged PC hoarder.
