I'm Paul Cull
, I started learning about programming when still in my late teens at Christchurch Polytech in the early 1980s, first teaching myself BASIC on the Commodore PETs in the library and then learning "real programming" on the PDP-11/05s (BASIC and Pascal), and ICL 2980 (COBOL).
I worked as a programmer / analyst and systems administrator for a number of years, including on the first IBM PCs and XTs when they came out here in New Zealand. More recently I have been working in an entire different field, with at-risk young people in Brazil.
I've joined the forum as I'd love to get my hands on a working PET or CBM for old-times' sake.
Well, that's enough about me,
