Any old Mac plus/512/128 or IIGS boards lying around?

Postby tezza on Sun Jan 30, 2011 9:10 am

Hi Guys,

Now that my session with Philip Lord (nama) has confirmed a faulty IWM chip in my Lisa 2/10, I'm looking for a replacement. I don’t think this chip was ever sold separately BUT (to my knowledge) it can be found on old Mac (Mac Plus and before) and IIGS boards. The number on the chip is Apple 344-0041

Does anyone have any junk boards of the above they could extract this chip from for sale to me (I’m thinking $20 or so)? If it’s soldered in, I’d happily take the whole board and extract it myself.

Let me know by email or private message on this board if you can help.

Sadly no Apples that old Tez, I'll keep my eyes peeled for ya though.
Just the local Commodore hobo and middle-aged PC hoarder.
eisa on Trademe. A lasting reminder of a Compaq fetish when I was younger.

Got one of these now, kindly donated by Gavin (gavo). My Lisa 2/10 now passes all it's checks. Still a way to go as both the hard and floppy drive have issues. Getting there though.
