Commodore PET 8032 available for Christchurch pickup

Postby tezza on Fri May 29, 2015 10:55 am

Hi,

A person by the name of Jon Himing contacted me about disposing of some Commodore PET gear. Specifically there is a CBM 8032 he like to see it go to a good home. From what I understand it's free for collection. There may be other gear too such as CBM disk drives and other PET models but I'm not sure if these are also available at this time, or for free. Check with Jon.

These items are PICKUP ONLY. Jon will not ship them. If you are interested drop Jon a line at jon.himing@me.com.

I picked up the commodore today , it beeps and showed garbage on screen for 10 seconds then the picture went out, I presume the LOPT but haven't looked into it yet.

It does chirp on power up.

I will take some photos and post them in a restoration thread, it's dirty but highly restorable and hasn't been messed with.

Thanks Jon, bloody awesome....

I don't think UL would like the fact you can opjen the lid and touch bear transformer wires LOL.

It's actually a commodore PET 8032-32B
