haha yeah yesterday I actually thought 'so this is what they meant by plug and pray'.
Somehow I avoided the early PnP issues. Likely because I jumped from 386SX to P75 PCI.
Jumpered was all good with me back then, it just worked, there was no wondering what was going on behind the scenes. Even had IDE and MFM running side by side in one of my machines in the 90's.

Carcenomy - reminds me that I need to look out for some VRAM for mine too, 640x480x24 800x600x16 or 1024x768x8 - weeee bit weak, could've sworn my old P75 did 1024x768 at 16 bit.

Varies hugely from machine to machine how "off", "off" is.
"dsakey" on trademe. Apple II's are my thing.

I've got two pair of modules, I'll try 'em in my 7222 first and if they work you can have the other pair. It'll just be an S3 Trio64 of some flavour, so 1MB VRAM.
Just the local Commodore hobo and middle-aged PC hoarder.
eisa on Trademe. A lasting reminder of a Compaq fetish when I was younger.

Oh legend :D
Yeah they're just those typical brown slots.

Think it's a S3Trio64 or 64V2+.
