Hmmm....I'm in two minds. It's not REALLY a classic is it?

I would consider it a classic. It represents the first Amiga workstation oriented machine. Or do we not consider the Amiga a classic yet? ;)
Just the local Commodore hobo and middle-aged PC hoarder.

Oh yes, I do. But I've already got a Amiga 500 so I've already got an example of an Amiga. Probably the most popular model even. The 1000 model is the first of the line, so that's gives some collectibility value to that release in my mind too. The 2000? Fine machine although I'm sure it is, at $200 it may be a little outside my collection theme....
