Is there any one who could pick up and post these items

If so I would cover cost, if they were prepared to collect and post.

I might even be interested in those, the 800xl was my first computer

I was very impressed with the Atari 800XL when I first acquired a disk-based one a few years ago, especially given that it's essentially a repackaged 800, which was released at the end of 1978. In essence then it was old technology for 1983, but the keyboard is good, BASIC fine, disk access fast and the OS very user friendly. Although the C64 has better sound and vision, I would have preferred it over the C-64 in the day. To me the c64 did (and still does) feels kludgy. I'm not a gamer though, and maybe gamers would have a different opinion.

Edit: The fact that the Atari 800XL stacks up well in 1983 shows just how far advanced the 800 was when it was first released!

I remember being a 10 year old and only having a tape drive for it, that was painful. Those memories I didn't cherish.

Haaaaaaaaaahahahaha! I hear that SpidersWeb!

As for the 800XL, is there REALLY that much interest in them? I have one I could live without...?
Just the local Commodore hobo and middle-aged PC hoarder.

The 800xl is easier to hack, you can go for the 256k upgrade sim to the Newel one or just make a Rambo board and go to 1024k
and the 800XL has a far better keyboard than the crappy I am going to fail 130XE rubbish membrain one.
As for the drives very easy to hack and get them running a a US doubler, Lazer, Happy or even a quad drive, so speed of load is far faster than any C= disk drive which you can go and brew up a pot of tea while you program loads if its Commadore, even the standard 1050 will out perform even the enhanced C= drive.
