XE and 3 x 800XL + other goodies

http://www.trademe.co.nz/computers/vintage/auction-601931847.htm

$200 buy now, I don't know if that's a good deal or not, but it looks good - quite a few bits there.

That's a pretty nice stash. I see there's a bid of $50 on it at the moment, so any buy now has gone.

I think $200 would have been a pretty good deal for everything there - and since my 600XL is running, I've got this strange incling to look at more Atari gear (even though I was never an Atari kid, only a Sinclair one) - but that's probably more related to being brainwashed after the 5+ hours of pacman/defender/digdug-ing I did last weekend.

Oh well, outside my budget anyway - unless Trademe start to offer PayPal options that is.

$68 was a little underwhelming for 4 Atari 800s, 1 x Atari 130XE, a stack of printers, a dozen or so cart games, all those joysticks etc etc. The winner will be a happy guy.

When Andrew started getting beaten, I'd plan to nail it, but got distracted an hour or so before the auction :S
At that price, if another cc member didn't get it, I quite badly wanted it! Oh well.

Lol, very happy indeed. Once I get the gear up to Auckland and work out what bits I want, I'll list the rest here for anyone who's keen to take them home.

Yes, good score. I would have been tempted myself but I've got enough Atari gear now.

Just to put this auction in perspective. This Vtech Talking LessonOne kids computer - http://www.trademe.co.nz/toys-models/vi ... 874990.htm - just sold for $53.

It looks like collecting every Vtech toy ever has eventually paid off :) I wish. Second and third bidders over $50 were martinmoop and jrb1 if anyone wants to sell them your one. Although one sold for $1 with power supply on #586576193.

I'd possibly be interested in the yellow joystick out of the Atari lot (if I can't find one amongst my few cartons of joysticks already). I like the colour.
