New Acquisition - A TRS-80 Model IV

I just had to show this off. A new TRS-80 Model IV sourced from the U.S. The shipping cost was out of this world, but the price of the unit itself was good.

Yes, it's a decent piece of screen real-estate for the time.

I tried my SVD (semi-virtual diskette) with it yesterday attached as an external drive. It works fine, which opens to door to software aquisition via Internet sources.

Apart from looking pretty, I want to set this up as a drive testing unit, much like Philip Avery's rig (see figure 1 in this article).
