Serial / Dumb Terminal

Postby SpidersWeb on Wed Jan 22, 2014 1:28 pm

Once upon a time you couldn't run without tripping over a Wyse WY-60. Now, I can't find a working terminal with keyboard anywhere.

If you have one that powers up, and needs a new home, let me know how much you want for it. Very keen to get one.

Only real requirement is that it needs to be RS-232 / EIA which most of them were.

Good luck, we don't even get them in at work anymore. I think I remember only one in the last 3 years turning up. Now the later model terminals are a dime a dozen but nobody wants those.

I figured I'd just eventually stumble across some, but yeah, that never happened. I guess without a server to plug in to, they become so useless it was straight to the tip :(
Fingers crossed!
