IBM PC Jr

Someone might be interested? For some reason, the seller has decided that they don't want buyers to know what price they're after, so I'm not going to be bothered with it.

Yeah and it's a 110V model, untested, no display and he wants the buyer to pick up.
But it's one machine I'm missing in my collection and actually do want - so if the price isn't too ridiculous then I'll be in.

I'm sure I could find someone up those ways to help me out with shipping.
Pretty cool it's in it's original box!

Bid's now $111.11, so it's not going to be a spare change thing. Re the monitor, it's unclear as to whether he has the monitor but it's not boxed, or the monitor isn't there at all. The least he could have done is unpack and set it up so bidders can see exactly what's there, rather than one partial pic of a pile of boxes! Oh well.

Hopped up to 150 but reserve has been met.

Just not quite exciting enough to get me jumping around and calling in favors.
Would be keen to see what's in the boxes though (if whoever wins reads this, come show us!).

Yes, I;d like to see what's inside those boxes too.

An IBM PC Junior is not on my wish list but it is a famous failure...hmmm....

I find it hard to place, because I think the early Tandy range had more impact (at least in the US).
But then of course those machines wouldn't have been what they were without the Jr. Both it's features and it's failings.
