Discuss any interesting vintage computer Trade Me items here

A small break in the famine, something worth a good go at, a good ol classic here, nice powerful BASIC,
but could have done well with 8 colours and a sound volume control.

Its a good one to bid on as it hasn't had that popout piece pushed out (left of keyboard) and its verified to be a working machine.

Has some kind of CGA monitor

Monitor is most likely a runner, just a poped A/C filter cap be the sounds of it, or other cap failure.
Im convinced a lot of vintage hardware will eventually hit the bins as people think smoke is terminal,
when mostly its just a $2 part, that isnt even vital to the items operation.

Im interested, im going to bid on it at 2 minutes to Midnight, and I have the home town advantage of free pickup

I know knightofthecode will have it on his watch list ?

Im predicting at least a three way duke out, tag team battle up to $150-$200 simply because from what I have seen Knightofthecode doesnt drop out on BBC's until around (or just over) the $200 mark against determined bidders. I think $200 would be pretty good for TradeMe, $50 anywhere else if you could find one elsewhere.

Looks good. I've grabbed a couple of these off trademe within minutes of them being listed. Love the "Buy Now" button...

Incredibly advanced machine for the time. One of my favs. Won't be bidding, but will be watching.
