Bug foggers

I'm going to try using a bug bomb/fogger tomorrow and I'm wondering what to do with electronics both vintage and new. Should they be left out of storage? Covered? Will the chemicals in the bomb damage the plastics in older computers?

I'm not sure either, but my expectation would that they should be covered to prevent too much residue from settling.
I like using those plastic sheets you get for painting, cheap and completely cover it.

Make sure you let the neighbors and the local fire brigade know - last thing you want is someone assuming you fired up some ancient power supplies and blew every cap - and then dowsing you in water!

Thanks for the ideas guys, we ended up hiring an exterminator. I left my small machines and cartridges in large ziplock bags. I was concerned some of the larger machines could be housing some unwanted guests so I left them out and wiped them down afterwards. It turned out fine there's no residual smell or marks on anything.
