Tulip Impression Compact 4/33 Si

Hi all,

Just listing some more stuff and was wondering if anyone had come across a Tulip Impression Compact 4/33 Si before. I can find no information about this unit and very little information about the company apart that the were Dutch and they existed for a while. I think the PSU is buggered so haven't investigated much further.

Case is a little more common than you'd think. I've owned a few boxes like that. There is a guy on ebay selling brand new AT cases of pretty much the same layout - complete with riser card. Quite an efficient use of space.

Think that will make a very nice DOS gamer for someone out there though, very tidy and with all the brand matching bits.

I'm liking the Acorn, XT, and T1000 you just put up! I wonder how many scars I'll get from the bidwar that will no doubt ensue.

I thought they sounded quite familiar - they ended up with the Commodore name and tried flooding the market with crappy merchandise with the chickenhead logo. Just what a dead company needed, its name sullied some more!

I've got my eye on that one. Got a limit I'm prepared to go to.

The Tulip may be of interest too, but not to fussed about getting the monitor though.

I'll leave the Archimedes for you / other people, I have too much other incoming gear and lack the Acorn mouse/monitor.
It's actually an A4000 I want (had one as a kid).

That Magnum MK-II has me drooling though.

Just fixed the disk washer so extra brownie points for me I don't have a suitable monitor for the Archie either but I've needed an excuse to get a RGB monitor.

I had an interesting old color monitor come into work late today, it's got a bunch of different inputs at the back, is just quite styley and looks in great order (still in it's box) will list that either monday or tuesday next week along with an A2000 & an A3000

It has TV out I think? And you can get Acorn to PS2 mouse adaptors from the UK.
But that new monitor manuka mentions + custom cable could be a winner.

Agreed. Those other outputs are for some black and white monitor setup looking at the specs. I've a Mk1 mouse to go with it to complete the set.

Anyway it'll be interesting to see how high the bidding goes

It's not for the faint hearted I tell ya. Installing via CD or doing the hard yards with floppies?
The DecPC, 486DX2/66 with 16 megs of ram runs V3 connect fairly decently. Boots up in about the same time as this XP box. The Lan client is a lot slower than wfw to log on. Using a D-Link DE 220 in it.

Just been replacing all the 386DX25s rusty screws and back plates with something a bit cleaner. Been toying with the idea of getting the outside case powder coated. Tidied up the hobby area as well-don't know whats come over me.
