From time to time I'll tinker with my collection,
get new gear or simply have random thoughts about vintage computing.
I've been doing this for years but apart from the odd note in discussion
forums I've kept these things in my head.
However, I've decided (for better or worst) to join
the blogger phenomenon and jot a few of these things down as they
